REMEMBERING
GOD’S CREATION (Genesis 1:1,31)
When
the leaves begin to fall and the sun starts setting low,
It’s a sign that winter’s call is just saying its
hello.
Soon the snow will be falling and the wind will whistle round,
Then you’ll hear each tree singing as it utters forth its
sound.
Stoke
the fire in the furnace making smoke clouds rise so high;
All will know that here’s a place where contentment is drawn
nigh.
With a fire in the fireplace and its timbers kindled low,
You’ll find joy, peace and solace in the embers as they
glow.
Next will come days much brighter when the spring breaks winter’s
hide
And those drawn nigh by winter will be scattered far and wide;
So be thankful – dear brother for each winter every year,
And pray that God will ever bring to all – His winter cheer.
